I declare there is no enjoyment like reading. -Jane Austen

Pincher Creek, as seen on this afternoon’s walk…

Welcome to my world…  I am a lifelong bibliophile (my first spoken word as an infant was ‘book’), currently residing in Pincher Creek, a lovely little town in southwestern Alberta, Canada. We moved here almost 13 years ago, feeling like we’d found the end of the rainbow to raise our children in. Now we’re empty nesters, and I’m excited to have landed on book blogging as a new place to pour some of my energy!

Summer comes here, too!

I’m writing here because I love to share. This blog will be my place to go on happy little rants about the books I enjoy- so you can enjoy them, too! I’m always collecting books, (occasionally to my long-suffering husband’s chagrin) and can’t really imagine letting a day go by a day without partaking of at least a few pages.

If you’re like me,  and find a good book irresistible, you’ve come to the right place. This is going to be fun.

As time goes by, you’ll find posts on various genres…

  • -mystery
  • -historical fiction
  • -biography
  • -children’s literature
  • -lifestyle
  • … and more!

I’m happy we’ve found each other in this big world. I look forward to connecting with you on the endlessly fascinating subject of ~good books for better living~!
